North Staffs Model Aircraft Club (NSMAC) was formed in 1994 and intitially based in Sandbach, Cheshire, and later moved to its current site at Wilfield Communitity Education Centre. Upon its formation it was decided that the club would do its best to help promote R/C model flying and with this aim in mind is a BMFA affiliated club.

All members of the club are provided with insurance via BMFA. We also operate and promote the BMFA's training and achievement schemes, therefore encouraging safe flying at our club.

As the membership of the club has grown, so as the number of BMFA examiners and instructors. We currently have in the membership 2 examiners and 8 instructors, all of whom donate their time free of charge.

Our first advice, if you are interested, is to visit our site. Just turn up and ask someone for information, you will find that we also spend alot of time just chatting.

Club members will always be delighted to explain how it all works and offer advice.

If you decide you would like to get involved, new members are always welcome, and if we have the club trainer on site, they could arrange for you to try it out, before you spend that hard earned money.
